Web 2.0 in Education Intro

After taking a look at the changing global landscape and what is currently driving this era of technology and innovation, we can see that a trend is emerging in the ways we use the Internet. The Internet has proven to be an important landscape for social interaction and computing, rather than its importance being solely based on commerce. There has been an emergence of a new infrastructure that supports this new collaborative and social culture through a new array of Web 2.0 applications. In the next few weeks, I would like to take a look at the Web 2.0 and the social implications from the emergence of Internet based education.
